Based in Nashville, Brian Tate serves as an Audit Shareholder with LBMC’s Healthcare group. With over 30 years of experience in public accounting, he has dedicated the majority of his career to supporting the healthcare sector.
Brian provides audit and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of healthcare organizations, including both for-profit and not-for-profit entities such as long-term care providers, hospitals and health systems, physician practices, and behavioral health organizations. His extensive client base includes venture capital and private equity-backed businesses, start-ups, and companies engaged in strategic growth through acquisitions.
He is actively involved with Leadership Health Care and the Nashville Health Care Council, and currently chairs the TSCPA Healthcare Conference Committee, where he contributes to developing conference content focused on emerging challenges impacting healthcare organizations and CPAs across Tennessee.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to community engagement, Brian chairs the LBMC Cares Foundation board, guiding governance improvements, enhancing employee participation, and fostering long-term community investment through LBMC’s philanthropic initiatives. Additionally, he serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Conexión Americas, advancing efforts to create opportunities and promote inclusion for Latino families in Middle Tennessee.
